On March 7th, 2025, Pride Bank held its inaugural Women’s Day breakfast meeting at its head office in Bukoto. The event ran from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM and brought together women entrepreneurs recommended by branch managers. It was designed to foster entrepreneurship and support the growth of women-owned businesses through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and networking.

The gathering featured inspiring presentations from distinguished speakers. Ms. Rose Kwatampola from Uganda Management Institute spoke on sustainable growth for small businesses, while Ms. Kasana Aidha shared insights on leveraging digital tools for business. Ms. Barbara from Bake4me School recounted her journey of starting small and building a successful enterprise. The Managing Director, Ms. Victoria Gladys Namagembe, delivered opening remarks, emphasizing Pride Bank’s dedication to empowering women and announcing the intention to make the breakfast an annual event.

The program concluded with a panel discussion, giving attendees the chance to engage directly with the speakers. The atmosphere reflected Pride Bank’s commitment to women’s empowerment, with participants leaving inspired and motivated to grow their businesses and contribute to Uganda’s economic development.
