Kisoro, 20/08/26. Pride Bank, has today officially opened its fully-fledged Kisoro Branch, marking another important milestone in the Bank’s commitment to expanding access to inclusive, convenient and customer centred financial services across Uganda. The new branch strengthens Pride Bank’s presence in Kisoro and reinforces its mission of empowering individuals, businesses and communities through accessible financial solutions.
The official opening follows the steady growth of Pride’s operations in Kisoro since establishing its presence in the district on 21 January 2018. Over the years, increasing customer demand and the district’s growing economic potential created the need to upgrade the outlet into a fully-fledged branch capable of offering a wider range of banking services.
The opening of the branch is expected to significantly improve access to formal financial services for the people of Kisoro and the surrounding communities. Customers will no longer need to travel long distances to access comprehensive banking solutions, enabling them to save time, reduce costs and conveniently manage their financial needs closer to home.

The branch also provides international money transfer services through Western Union, MoneyGram, Ria and Transfast, convenient URA collection services, MTN and Airtel Money deposits, as well as electronic float deposits and withdrawals for banking agents. These services position the branch as a one-stop financial centre for customers across the district.

The Bank remains committed to supporting agriculture, which continues to be one of the major economic activities in Kisoro District. Pride Bank’s financial solutions will help farmers, cooperatives, agribusinesses and enterprises invest in production, value addition and business expansion while contributing to food security and household incomes.
